2008-09 Band Trip

Welcome to all Incoming Students in the Band, Choir and Guard. We Wish You an Enjoyable and Exciting 2008-09 year!

2008-09 Band Trip to Philadelphia and New York City!

Next year is the big trip to march in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade and then off to The BIG APPLE!

Every four years the band takes a trip with all of the students that are in band and color guard and next school year (2008-09) is the year!

We have auditioned and have been selected to march in the Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade. After the parade we will depart for New York City for fun and excitement!

If you missed the meeting on January 14th, here is some information you need to know.

	Student Accounts cannot be used for the first payment. An account must be set up initially by New Horizons. Money from any fundraisers that go to students accounts will be sent to New Horizons by the Treasurer every month, starting in February.
	The first payment of $100 must be turned into Mr. Parks or Mrs. Marsh WITH the completed forms BEFORE January 25th. The forms will be sent to New Horizons and they will set-up an account for each student. They will mail a user ID and password to you that you can use online and they will invoice you for the remaining payments. Payments can be made by mail or on-line. You can check your account balance on-line at New Horizons.
	ONLY THE FIRST PAYMENT WILL BE TURNED IN TO THE BAND ROOM. All other payments have to be made to New Horizons by mail or on-line.

	There is a $25 charge for Travel Insurance, due at the time of deposit - please send a separate check for the Insurance. SEE BELOW TO DECLINE INSURANCE. Price subject to increase if numbers fall below minimum required.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

As of 1/25/2008, $100.00 is non-refundable.

As of 3/1/2008, $245.00 is non-refundable.

As of 4/15/2008, $390.00 is non-refundable.

As of 9/1/2008, $535.00 is non-refundable.

As of 10/1/2008, $679.00 is non-refundable. Or total tour cost.

Each person that is to travel needs to have a form of their own.

The STUDENT Registration is for all BAND STUDENTS ONLY.

The ADULT Registration is for CHAPERONES ONLY.

If your family also wants to go on the trip and you don't want the Chaperone responsibilities, you should fill out a FAN Registration form for each person traveling except for your band student. (They need to have a STUDENT registration.) The Family tour will be the same itinerary but the "Fan" accounts will be separately handled by New Horizons.
