KROGER CARD

Kroger Gift Cards are good at all Kroger locations nationwide. Music Boosters earns 2% and your student earns 2% on all purchases made with the Gift Card.

New for the 2007-08 year!

The Music Boosters have decided to split the earnings with our students. Now 2% will go to your students account and 2% will go to the Music Boosters general fund. If you already have a card that you received before November 2007, we need your number on the back of the card to properly credit your students account.

The Kroger Card is actually a rechargeable gift card. You have to purchase one through the Music Boosters as they already have our code input on these. The cost is $1, and there is a $1 credit already on the card.

When you go to Kroger, you can go to the service desk to “load” your card with money, or at the register prior to any items being scanned. You may pay for this in cash, check, credit or debit card. When you go to pay for your groceries, you swipe the gift card, and the amount is deducted from the card.

PLEASE NOTE – YOU WILL STILL NEED TO USE YOUR KROGER PLUS CARD TO RECEIVE ALL OF THE IN STORE DISCOUNTS. If you have $50 on your card and your total is $55, you will owe the balance due of $5. If you have $100 on your card and your total is $65, your receipt will show you that you still have $35 left on the gift card. The cards can be recharged again and again.

If the balance of the card is under $1 for over 90 days, the Music Booster's code will be automatically taken off and the Boosters will not receive any credit on future purchases (although the card can still be reloaded). You will need to purchase a new card from the Boosters. Any money over $1 will never expire, so if you have $10 on the card and don’t reload it for 6 months, the $10 will still be there.

You may also use the gift card to pay for gasoline at the pumps. Just make sure you put in your PLUS CARD first to get your discount per gallon of gas, and then pay for it with your Kroger Gift Card.
