BAND CAMP RETURN CARRY-IN DINNER A family carry-in dinner will be held on Friday, July 18th, when our students return home after a long week of Band Camp. Following the dinner, we will be treated to a short performance by our students on the band practice field! TIME: Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. Students will return by bus at approximately 5:30 p.m., and dinner will start following their return. The students will go through the food line first, and then families will follow.
WHERE: In the High School Commons (aka cafeteria).
WHAT TO BRING: EVERYONE SHOULD BRING A MAIN DISH TO SHARE PLUS A SIDE OR DESSERT, YOUR OWN TABLE SETTINGS (paper plates, utensils and napkins) AND YOUR OWN DRINK. FRESHMAN & JUNIORS – MAIN DISH AND SIDE/SALAD SOPHOMORES & SENIORS– MAIN DISH AND DESSERT
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: There will be sign-up sheets for volunteers for concessions, chaperones, and for help at the Tipp Marching Band Invitational (September 13th).
Bring your calendar. You may want to bring a lawn chair for the performance after the dinner…and don’t forget your cameras! Please mark all food containers with your name, also serving utensils. We always end up with a few extra each year. We will leave forgotten dishes in the band room.
When the band returns, any available help to unload luggage and instruments would be appreciated by the band camp crew!
